The connector looks very similar to the coupling but there is one obvious difference. The connectors are meant to slide over the end of a piece of pipe on one side and tighten down the inside of the box or sheath on the other end. You use the connectors at the ends of the conduit to ground the box. You will almost always use both the coupling and the connector in any conduit running together.
